Yes — every Lourel piece is made from 100% pure mulberry silk, the finest and longest-fibre silk there is. It's a genuine natural protein fibre, never a synthetic imitation.

Hand wash cold (below 30°C) with a pH-neutral silk detergent, or dry clean. Don't bleach or wring. Reshape and dry flat, away from direct sunlight, and cool iron on the reverse if needed.

Not at all. With a gentle hand wash or dry clean, silk stays beautiful for years — and because it naturally resists odours and creasing, it needs washing far less often than you'd expect.

Pure mulberry silk is breathable and temperature-regulating, naturally hypoallergenic and gentle on skin and hair, and beautifully durable. Cared for well, a silk piece lasts — and only softens with time.
