Refund policy

We want you to love your Lourel pieces. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order, in line with your right of withdrawal under EU and Swedish consumer law.

Return window

You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to notify us that you wish to return an item, and a further 14 days to send it back to us.

Condition of returned items

To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received them, with all original tags and packaging intact. For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of items that have been used or washed.

How to start a return

To begin a return, please email us at hello@thelourel.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. We will then provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days. Please remember that it can take some additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately at hello@thelourel.com if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Non-returnable items

Certain items may be non-returnable for hygiene reasons (such as bedding or intimate items once opened or used) and gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA)

If you are shopping from within the EU/EEA, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, without giving any reason, in accordance with applicable consumer protection law. This does not affect your statutory rights.
